'hoy, small fry!

Seeing that there is little, if anything, that's actually keeping me here anymore, I figure I oughta withdraw from deviantART for good and at least have that out there. I'm only ever on here to check in on a few folks and fave a few things, and I've long since felt that I kinda sorta... moved on from dA? I guess? ;v;

That and I'm a heck of a lot more active on Tumblr anyway (hit me up if you've got one! come one, come all! vizardjeffhog.tumblr.com/), so I might as well drop this notice off and give my farewells on here before packing it up.

womp womp melodramatics aside

Anyway, quick life update from me for those curious, since I haven't said a peep about it over the past couple of years on here:

I'm currently in my fourth year at university (more or less what wound up suckering my free time and completely changing up my schedule), and feeling extra pumped with graduation coming soon! Not that I'll be graduating in June right away as there are some summer courses I'll have to take (not to mention a bonus video production course that'll be offered during that period, as I've been having a ton of fun with those classes! probable career choice?), but knowing that I'll be nearing the end of my life as a student this year feels pretty damn good, not gonna lie! Hopefully, if everything works out, November will be when I am D-O-N-E! WOO!

Aside from that, I also started hitting the gym, and I gotta say, it's a pretty empowering experience! Cycling and weights seem to be the sort of exercises I resort to doing the most, but eh, they're fun! Definitely grew on me faster than I would've anticipated.

Content creation-wise... Well, like I said, university sorta puts a damper on that at the moment because priorities. Once that's over and done with though? Hell yeah! Back on YouTube and Soundcloud I go!

Aside from all of that, provided all's cool, I'm willing to share my Skype with those interested since I'm on there every other day – there are a number of friends on here I wouldn't mind getting in touch with again, seeing as it's been a while...
And, bonus, if you've got a 3DS or Wii U and wouldn't mind going for some multiplayer matches on occasion, I'd be down if you're down whenever!

And that's all the info I've got to offer! I can't go fighting evil on an empty stomach, you know!</s>

And with that... I'm off!

Oh geez, I'm feeling so incredibly giddy and bubbly!

The much-hyped, much looked forward to, and now unleashed TSSMA'11 is finally here! Spearheaded by yours truly, the non-profit downloadable album is available NOW!

The Sonic Stadium is proud to present its first official community release project – The Sonic Stadium Music Album 2011.

Assembled in a span of two months, 16 budding musicians on the SSMB banded together in an effort to bring out the ideas and concepts of our creative community at TSS. What was once a mere collaborative mini-album with a 15-track estimate, as envisioned by forum member and project leader VizardJeffhog, grew into an unmediated storm of tracks and tunes, something we hope will be the first of the many future community-driven projects to follow at TSS.

With 45 tracks, the album spans 4 discs with roughly 2 and a half hours of remixed Sonic music from games both well known and obscure – including some original Sonic-inspired tracks! Covering a wide variety of acoustic, electronic, rocking and atmospheric music, each composer on this album has done their best to bring out their respective visions of what the Sonic series has often been recognized and defined by – its music.

TSS would like to extend its Special Thanks to the following people;

VizardJeffhog for organizing, supervising and directing this project;

Ian Bennett for creating and designing the Project Site and giving this project its spotlight within the community. Without him, the project wouldn't be what it is today;

BlitzChris for streaming this album in it's entirety from start to finish as it's final pre-reboot SS:R Show.

Revision One, Dan-imeJ86, Sean, Carbo, and ProfessorZolo for providing the artwork for the album.

And last but not least, every single composer and musician that contributed to all the tracks:

Wolfblur
EXshad
BlitzChris
Freen In Green
eXtaticus
DJ EAR
foreversonic
Plumegeist
Alien/Renegade
mikeblastdude
Revision One
Stereo Pixel
Gregzilla
Urban Flow
VizardJeffhog
Wilderness

As this big feat is reaching the end of its long and exciting production, what's next?

We can formally announce that we're in the plans of assembling an even bigger and better album for 2012.

While we won't dwell into the details of this future project, starting today we will be accepting contributions from other fans who wish to have their works featured for what we're hoping can become a bigger and better album. If you are interested in being a part of this, keep an eye out on the SSMB and contact the project leader, VizardJeffhog, for album submissions and details.

For the fans, by a bunch of other fans, we have all enjoyed working this album, and we sincerely hope you enjoy listening to the album just as much as we had making it!

Hello again, everyone down on deviantART. It's... been quite a while to say the least. ^^; Putting it lightly anyway.

I haven't been on here for quite a bit, and I haven't spoken to a good few of my friends who are here. For my unannounced leave, I apologize for it.

University, amongst other things, has eaten up a good chunk of my time. That's one reason why I ain't on dA as much as I once was.
The second reason was that I found a very quaint and quite a bit homely website. You guys might know it as the Sonic Stadium, also known as the biggest Sonic fan community on the web! It's become a new hub for me. A really great place to be, I would say. You don't come across a great community like that just anywhere!

So, that being said, don't take it the wrong way, I'm not leaving you guys behind. In fact, I have a few announcements to make.

1. Renovation

My dA page will undergo a bit of a renovation soon, so a good chunk of my gallery will be cleared out = out with the old, in with the new, and facelift the remains!

...that's just about it.

2. SEGASonic:Radio

This online radio is the Sonic Stadium's own, and it's shutting down today because it'll undergo renovations as well.

Their final show is today at 3pm [GMT]. And for their final show, I'll be co-hosting! That's right, you guys will get the privilege to hear my sexy (according to me, anyway) voice in your speakers/headphones/earphones LIVE along with that of the equally sexy (also according to me, anyway) BlitzChris, head DJ of SS:R.

Now, what's the occasion, you may be asking yourself? On what other grounds would I be absent? What else have I dedicated my time to? Well, take a look below!

3. The Sonic Stadium Music Album - 2011 Edition!

www.sonicstadium.org/2012/01/f…

radio.sonicstadium.org/news-up…

You've read that right! On November 30th 2011, I began one of the biggest community projects the Sonic fanbase has never seen!

On the biggest fan community in the world, I spearheaded the Sonic Stadium Music Album as its founder, the first of its kind!

45 tracks.

14 different artists.

Over 2 hours worth of music.

All in one downloadable (and of course, non-profit) album!

The album itself is already complete! It'll be up for grabs on the Sonic Stadium's main page within the week. Checkered Emerald Path (YouTube link! www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9lWLI…) along with a short interlude you haven't heard yet will be featured as well.

SEGASonic:Radio's final livecast is a three hour listening party/preview of the album! BlitzChris and I will be your hosts with a few of the artists as guests!

3 PM [Greenwich Mean Time - London, England]!!! From the moment this journal is posted, that would be within 9 hours and 15 minutes!

That's right, that's TODAY!

That said and done, to listen to the radio, there are two ways!

If you want to listen and join the chat (recommended so I know who's listening! ;w; Please do join! I need your support!): www.sonicstadium.org/ssrchat/
If you want to just listen and not join the chat (;^; Don't leave me!), download the stream onto your media player, whether it be iTunes or something else! radio.sonicstadium.org/ssr.m3u

That said, I'm glad to be back here with the rest of ya!

Also, there is one more matter that I would wish to discuss, but that'll wait for later! I need some sleep. xD

Please join the chat at 3pm GMT to listen to the show and join the discussion! It'll at least let me know that you were there! Your support is highly appreciated!

Spread the word!

Alright, so most of you by now may or may not have listened to that 47 second long Green Hill Zone arrangement on the piano. I remember you guys saying it was great, awesome, well done and so forth.

But that short arrangement was nothing.

Nothing compared to THIS! www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9lWLI…

Ladies and gents, this is my official Green Hill medley! Not pertaining to the one and only Green Hill you know from Sonic the Hedgehog on the Genesis, but of just about EACH and EVERY single Green Hill adaptation and various inspirations thereof throughout Sonic history!
With video footage from various different Sonic games featuring these stages, I hope you'll enjoy it!

My way of celebrating Sonic's unstoppability after 20 years!

Footnote: at the end of this video will contain a hint of my next arrangement! Technically, only one person I know will know it instantly. :XD: Oh well, see if you can guess!

Also, I highly recommend you watch this! www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-DaJG… Sonic isn't the only one who went up another decade!

Now to finish part 3 of Kemmasandi's literature trade...
